AZB & Partners advised Haier Group on the strategic sale of a 49% stake in Haier Appliances India, India
The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners’ Mumbai and Chennai offices advised Haier Group on the strategic sale of a 49% stake in its wholly owned Indian subsidiary, Haier Appliances India, to Bharti Enterprises and Warburg Pincus. The transaction reflects growing investor confidence in India’s consumer appliances sector and marks a significant milestone in Haier Group’s India growth journey.
The AZB & Partners team was led by Zia Mody (Co-Founder and Managing Partner), who provided strategic guidance, along with Ashwath Rau (Senior Partner), Aarthi Sivanandh (Senior Partner), Atreya Bhattacharya (Senior Partner) and Bhavana Alexander (Partner).
