AZB & Partners advised KKR on USD 5.1 billion acquisition of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres
The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners is advising KKR, along with Singtel, on their proposed acquisition of 82% stake in ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), taking their total ownership to 100%, for a consideration of USD 5.1 billion. STT GDC operates data centres across approximately 15 countries, with significant operations in India.
This transaction represents the largest investment by KKR in the APAC infrastructure sector, reinforcing its long-term commitment to digital infrastructure and data centre growth across the region.
The AZB & Partners M&A deal team comprised Ashwath Rau (Senior Partner) and Atreya Bhattacharya (Senior Partner), with support from Heena Ladji (Senior Associate); Shubhalakshmi Bhattacharya, Harsh Gupta, Aditya Bamb, and Tansa Shah (Associates).
