AZB & Partners Advised Tata Consultancy Services And HyperVault AI Data Center On INR 18,000 Crore AI Data Center Initiative
AZB & Partners advised Tata Consultancy Services and HyperVault AI Data Center on INR 18,000 crore AI data center initiative
The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners has advised Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) and its subsidiary, HyperVault AI Data Center Limited (HyperVault), on their groundbreaking INR 18,000 crore AI data center initiative. The transaction includes an approximately INR 9,000 crore investment from TPG into HyperVault. This represents a pivotal moment for TCS, which has traditionally embraced a capital-efficient, organic growth model. This transaction marks an important milestone for AZB & Partners, which has played a key role in supporting TCS through nearly all of its significant M&A activities over the past two decades.
The AZB & Partners deal team comprised Nandish Vyas (Senior Partner), Nilanjana Singh (Senior Partner), Devika Nayak (Partner), Shreshth Bhartia (Senior Associate), Shivani Shenoy (Senior Associate), Meghna Somani (Associate), Anika Kumar (Associate), and Sahil Agarwal (Associate), with support on competition law aspects from Bharat V Budholia (Senior Partner) and Vayshnavi Ganesh (Senior Associate).
