Luthra & Luthra Law Offices recently advised and assisted Brady in the acquisition of Energycredit's Indian subsidiary Energycredit Software Services Private Limited ("Energycredit India"). Energycredit India was acquired by Brady by way of an indirect acquisition. The Firm assisted Brady in conducting a due diligence on Energycredit India and is assisting Brady with the post closing related activities for the India leg.
The acquisition is considered to be significant for Brady as it will enable Brady to be a 'one-stop-shop' for complete energy and commodity trading software requirements. This acquisition would enable Brady to combine its knowledge and expertise in commodity risk management and Energycredit's platform, expertise and relationships in the credit space and allow Brady to provide solutions for complete risk management.
The core transaction team comprised Samir Dudhoria (Partner), with Anshul Jain (Partner) and his team assisting in relation to various corporate compliance aspects.
