Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Acted As Investor Counsel To IFC And NabFID
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) acted as the investor counsel to International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) and National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (“NabFID”) in relation to subscription to listed, rated, secured, redeemable, non-convertible debt securities aggregating up to an amount of INR 1375,00,00,000/- (Indian Rupees One Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy Five Crores only), issued by NDR InvIT Trust (“Issuer”), on a private placement basis.
The transaction was structured in two separate issuances, in which IFC and NABFID separately participated.
The proceeds from the funds raised will be used by the Issuer to develop industrial parks and warehousing facilities across India’s key economic corridors, which would in turn play a key role in advancing India's warehousing and industrial parks sector.
The team at CAM was led by Partners Sangita John and Yash Jain, with support from Principal Associates Danish Dubash, Nandita Menon, and Sohrab Kharadi; Senior Associate Samiya Zehra; and Associates Janani Chandrasekaran, Daksh Mehta, Anubhav Khandelwal, Gaargi Singh, and Sohal Gehlot.
Kranti Mohan, Partner (Head - REIT and InvITs) provided inputs on InvIT-related aspects.
The transaction document was signed on 11th December, 2024 and closed on 3rd January, 2025.
