Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited in relation to the rupee term loan facility provided by them to Citron Ecopower Private Limited for the purposes of repayment/refinancing of the existing loans availed by the Borrower, for its 75.45 MW wind power project in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The transaction involved conducting due diligence on Citron Ecopower Private Limited along with lengthy negotiations with the opposite counsels to achieve the short and stringent timelines to close the transaction.
The transaction team at CAM was led by Yash Jain, Partner, with the support from Diptiman Mohapatra, Senior Associate, and Janani Chandrasekaran, Associate.
Other parties to the transaction include Citron Ecopower Private Limited (acted as Borrower).
