Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited (Mizuho) in the acquisition of an additional stake in Rent Alpha Private Limited (Company) from Bravia Rent Alpha Holdings Limited.Mizuho had acquired a controlling stake in the Company last year and has now made a follow-on acquisition. The Company is the holding company of a non-banking financial company, Capsave Finance Private Limited.
This was a time-sensitive exit that required extensive negotiations around warranties and indemnities, including fund comfort arrangements.
