Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised NaBFID In Relation To Its Issuance Of Non-Convertible Debt Securities
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (‘CAM’) advised National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (“NaBFID”) in relation to its issuance of 5,00,000 listed, unsecured, rated, redeemable, taxable, non-convertible debt securities of face value of INR 1,00,000 aggregating to INR 5000,00,00,000. The base issue was INR 2,000 crores which was oversubscribed by over-6x. The debt securities have been listed on both National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
The deal involved various stakeholders and regulatory advice for the issuance of bonds by a statutory body. CAM played a pivotal role by providing guidance and preparing the key information documents debenture documents and necessary consents in compliance with SEBI ILNCS regulations.
The Project & Project Finance team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised on the matter. The team was led by Meeta Kurpad (Partner); with support from Malavika Menon, (Senior Consultant); Apoorv Jain (Principal Associate); and Manasvin Andra (Associate).
The transaction was signed on 2nd July, 2024 and closed on 4th July, 2024.
