Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Nexus Select Trust on Joint Venture with Runwal Enterprises
The leading law firm in India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) advised Nexus Select Trust (“Nexus REIT”) on its formation of a joint venture with Runwal Enterprises for the construction and development of a mall in Runwal Garden City, Dombivli, Kalyan (“Mall Asset”).
The CAM transaction team was led by Kota Chandan (Partner) and Krithika Chandrasekaran (Partner), with support from George Kurian (Principal Associate), Jayant Belgaumkar (Senior Associate), and Sushant Khalkho (Associate).
The CAM Real Estate team, led by Jinal Mehta (Partner), with assistance from Yashvi Shah (Senior Associate) and Ankita Shah (Senior Associate), undertook title diligence of the land for the Mall Asset and provided structuring advice.
The CAM Financing team, led by Pranav Sharma (Partner) and Hariharan Kumar (Partner), with support from Madhurima Singh (Senior Associate) and Renuka Nevgi (Associate), drafted and negotiated the debt documents.
Pooranimaa Hariharan (Partner), with assistance from Tarun Reddy (Consultant) and Isiri SD (Associate), assisted in drafting acquisition documents. Janhavi Manohar (Partner) advised on regulatory aspects of the transaction under the REIT Regulations.
Corporate due diligence was handled by Aditya Gore (Consultant), with support from Kamiya Gupta (Associate), Akshata Bhat (Associate), and Chiranth S (Associate).
