Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised PayU Payments Private Limited (“PayU”), the payment and fintech business of Amsterdam-based global consumer internet group and technology investor Prosus, in its acquisition of a strategic stake in Mindgate Solutions Private Limited (“Mindgate”) by way of a secondary purchase from certain existing shareholders of Mindgate. The Firm assisted PayU in conducting due diligence on Mindgate and in drafting, negotiating, and executing various transaction documents.

The transaction was led by Ravindra Bandhakavi (Senior Partner) and Srabanee Ghosh (Partner), with support from Poornima Singh (Principal Associate), Mincy Mathew (Senior Associate), Sudarshan Srikanth (Senior Associate), and Nitika More (Associate).
