Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Renee Cosmetics In Securing ₹88 Cr Series C2 Funding From Existing Investors
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised Renee Cosmetics in securing INR 88 crores in Series C2 funding from existing investors, namely Evolvence, Edelweiss, and Equanimity. The firm assisted in conducting a top-up vendor diligence on Renee Cosmetics and its subsidiary, OG Beauty, drafting the transaction documents, and providing assistance with conditions precedent and closing.
The General Corporate team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised on the matter. The transaction was led by Aditi Manchanda, Partner, with support from Naimi Kamdar, Senior Associate, and Ridhima Lohia, Associate.
Other parties and advisors to the transaction included Bathiya Legal, which acted as Indian Legal Counsel for Edelweiss Discovery Fund - Series I; Evolvence India Fund IV Ltd, existing investor; and Equanimity Ventures Trust, existing investor.
The transaction was signed on 12th June 2024, and the closing was completed on 4th July 2024.
