Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advises Everest Reinsurance Company on establishment of its IFSC Insurance Office in GIFT City
The leading law firm in India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal counsel for Everest Reinsurance Company on the establishment of its IFSC Insurance Office (IIO) at GIFT City, Gujarat, India.
Everest Reinsurance Company, IFSC Branch, received the IFSCA Certificate of Registration for undertaking reinsurance business in IFSC as an IFSC Insurance Office on September 19, 2025. The approval has been secured under the IFSCA (Registration of Insurance Business) Regulations, 2021.
The Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas transaction team was led by Indranath Bishnu (Partner – Head, Insurance) and Ketaki Mehta (Partner – Gift City), with support from Jinisha Motwani (Senior Associate), Shravan Belsare (Senior Associate), Hridaykrishna Motwani (Associate), Jinansh Shah (Associate), Sakshi Nathani (Associate), Ishita Sharma (Associate), and Abhishek Chandel (Associate).
