Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas represents Adani Enterprises Limited and Adani Commodities Limited on stake sale in AWL Agri Business Limited
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) represents Adani Enterprises Limited (“AEL”) and Adani Commodities Limited (“ACL”) on ACL’s proposed sale of up to 20% of its shareholding in AWL Agri Business Limited (formerly known as Adani Wilmar Limited) (“AWL”) to Lence Pte. Ltd. (“Lence”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited.
CAM also assisted ACL in the disposal of its equity shares in AWL by way of a block deal through the stock exchange mechanism.
The transaction Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas team was led by Anchal Dhir (Partner) and Jay Parikh (Partner); with assistance from Ayushi Toshniwal (Principal Associate), Varun Kannan (Senior Associate), and Priyamvada Sharma (Associate).
Avaantika Kakkar (Partner, Head – Competition) and Pushkar Singh (Associate) advised on competition law aspects of the transaction.
Devaki Mankad (Partner, Regional Co-Head – Capital Markets – West) and Mansi Jhaveri (Principal Associate) advised on capital markets aspects.
