OCM Woolen Mills has been acquired by Mumbai-based Donear Group from its existing owner, in a private equity fund house.
The Donear Group will be expanding its range of products to Indian consumers for all the weather conditions and for all occasions, with the acquisition of OCM.
"No other manufacturer in India has been able to match the quality of OCM blazer and jacket of tweed fabric till date. We have charted out ambitious and aggressive plans to promote the OCM brand," Donear Group Promoter Rajendra Agarwal said.
HSA Advocates advised the promoters of Donear Group and the team was led by Managing Partner Amitabh Sharma along with Partner Aninda Pal, Principal Associate Kunal Rajpal and Associate Mansi Dua.
Previously, HSA Advocates had advised the promoters of Donear Group on the acquisition of 100% stake of Grasim Industries Limited (a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group) in its wholly owned subsidiary Grasim Bhiwani Textiles Limited.
