DSK Legal Advised Chandralok Co-operative Housing Society On The Redevelopment Of Its Navi Mumbai Property
DSK Legal advised and assisted Chandralok Co-operative Housing Society Limited (“Society”) in connection with the redevelopment of its property bearing Condominium Plot No. 7, admeasuring approximately 8797.63 square meters, along with 47 buildings situated at Sector 10, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai – 400709. The redevelopment is being undertaken by M/s. Akshar Realtors within the layout of City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (“CIDCO”).
DSK Legal advised the Society on multiple aspects, including:
- Compliance with redevelopment processes under Section 79A of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960;
- Participation in Special General Body Meetings to address queries from society members;
- Structuring of the transaction;
- Advising, revising, negotiating, and finalizing transaction documents such as the Letter of Intent, Development Agreement, Power of Attorney, Permanent Alternate Accommodation Agreement, and other ancillary documents.
