DSK Legal advised Dhruva Advisors on Strategic Joint Venture with Ryan, LLC
The leading law firm in India, DSK Legal advised Dhruva Advisors LLP (“DA LLP”), Dhruva Advisors India Private Limited (“DAIPL”), and its partners on a strategic joint venture with Ryan, LLC (“Ryan”), marking Ryan’s entry into the Indian tax consulting market.
Founded in 2014 and led by Dinesh Kanabar, Dhruva Advisors is one of India’s largest tax advisory firms outside of the Big 4, with operations across India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore. Ryan, founded by G. Brint Ryan, is a Texas-based privately held PE-backed firm providing integrated international tax services.
The strategic joint venture is significant in scale and marks Ryan’s first major expansion into India.
DSK Legal’s role included:
i. Advising on the legal contours and structure of the strategic joint venture;
ii. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising transaction agreements; and
iii. Advising and assisting on legal matters relating to the execution and closing of the transaction documents.
The DSK Legal team was led by Mayank Mehta (Partner), with support from Adwait Munje (Principal Associate) and Sonali Tiwari (Associate). Anand Desai (Managing Partner) and Hemang Parekh (Partner) provided strategic inputs.
