DSK Legal advised Intellend Technologies Advisors on USD 1.2 million seed funding round
The leading law firm in India, DSK Legal assisted and advised Intellend Technologies Advisors Private Limited (“Intellend”) in connection with its successful seed funding round, led by Incubate Fund Asia, with participation from M Venture Partners, Atrium Angels, and angel investor Mr. Dhananjay Tiwari. The round raised USD 1.2 million, aimed at supporting Intellend’s growth and go-to-market strategy.
Founded in 2025 by Mr. Brotish Das, Mr. Som Chatterjee, and Mr. Bodhisattwa Gupta, Intellend is a tech-enabled platform facilitating embedded term loans for MSMEs’ working capital needs. The funding is expected to strengthen Intellend’s AI-led credit underwriting and expand its embedded lending offerings to address the underserved MSME credit market.
DSK Legal’s role included:
- (a) Reviewing and finalising the Share Subscription and Shareholders’ Agreement;
- (b) Drafting and negotiating the Founders’ Employment Agreement;
- (c) Reviewing the General Employment Agreement; and
- (d) Advising on ancillary documents, closing, and post-closing actions.
The DSK Legal team representing Intellend comprised Mala Mehto (Principal Associate), Devika Rana (Senior Associate), and Mihika Mukherjee (Associate). Harvinder Singh (Partner) acted as the lead engagement partner, and Anjan Dasgupta (Partner) acted as the relationship partner, providing strategic inputs on the transaction.
