DSK Legal advised Kotak Investment Advisors Limited ("KIAL"), in relation to the closure of KIAL's 13th real estate fund for opportunistic real estate investments in India.
This fund will have a corpus of USD 1,000,000,000 (US Dollars One Billion only), secured through an investment of USD 500,000,000 (US Dollars Five Hundred Million only) from a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority ("ADIA"), and is domiciled in Gujarat International Finance Tech City ("GIFT City").
DSK Legal assisted KIAL in, inter alia: reviewing, negotiating and revising the contribution agreement(s), investment management agreement and the trust deed and drafting and reviewing of all other ancillary documents related to the transaction.
