Eminent Electricity Distribution Advised By Khaitan & Co On Acquisition Of Chandigarh Power
The matter will proceed after the transfer of power distribution
Khaitan & Co counsel Eminent Electricity Distribution Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of CESC Ltd, under the RPSG Group) on the acquisition of Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited.
This will happen, pursuant to the transfer of electricity distribution and retail supply functions of the Electricity Wing of the Engineering Department of the Administration of Union Territory of Chandigarh to Chandigarh Power Distribution Ltd, as per the Chandigarh Electricity Reform Transfer Scheme, 2025.
