Gurpreet Vasir Ashar, corporate partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) Mumbai has resigned.Ms Ashar is a 2003 NLSIU Bangalore and joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in October 2011.CAM managing partner Cyril Shroff said, “We wish her very well. Gurpreet Vasir Ashar, corporate partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) Mumbai has resigned.
Ms Ashar is a 2003 NLSIU Bangalore and joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in October 2011.
CAM managing partner Cyril Shroff said, “We wish her very well. She is moving on for a lifestyle choice with our blessings and goodwill. As a law firm we will have lawyers make lifestyle choices.”
Ashwath Rau and three partners in his team, Ganesh Rao, Dhruv Singhal and Anu Tiwari left CAM Mumbai to move to AZB & Partners, and Himanshu Dodeja, who joined private equity firm Blackstone in April.
Prerak Ved, CAM corporate practice partner had joined AZB as a counsel earlier in August.
