Hogan Lovells Acted on $170 Million Mega-Equity Deal in India's EMS Sector
Hogan Lovells Acted on $170 Million Mega-Equity Deal in India's EMS Sector
Hogan Lovells has steered lead managers in Kaynes Technology's $170 million equity offering. The global law firm provided strategic legal counsel to Axis Capital, DAM Capital, IIFL Securities, and Nomura Financial Advisory on the successful equity raise for the Indian IT leader.
Kaynes Technology stands as a premier integrated electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, delivering comprehensive solutions with embedded internet-of-things (IoT) functionalities. Their expertise caters to discerning clientele across the global automotive, aerospace, and strategic electronics sectors.
This transaction, constituting one of the largest in India's integrated EMS sector, further cements Kaynes Technology's position as a leader in the field. It comes on the heels of their highly successful $120 million initial public offering in 2022, in which Hogan Lovells also served as legal counsel.
Hogan Lovells' India Practice Co-Head and Singapore Office Managing Partner, Biswajit Chatterjee, spearheaded the team, backed by counsel Kaustubh George and a skilled team of senior associate Varun Jetly and associates Utkarsh Mishra, Aditya Rajput, and Suchisubhra Sarkar.
