Luthra & Luthra Law Offices acted as legal counsel to diagnostic chain, Dr Lal PathLabs Limited on all aspects of Indian law in relation to the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO).Wagner Limited, WestBridge Crossover Fund, LLC and Sanjeevini Investment Holdings were the existing private equity investors in the company.
The merchant banks on the transaction were Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited and Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited. The transaction team from Luthra & Luthra was led by Partner Vishal Yaduvanshi, with continual guidance and support from Senior Partner Bobby Chandhoke.
This deal was significant as Dr Lal PathLabs Limited was the first full service diagnostic services company to undertake an IPO in India.
