KAnalysis Partner Ashutosh Choudhary Acquires Strategic Patent Portfolio In Smart Medical Packaging
KAnalysis, a leading global IP management and strategy firm, has announced that its Founding Partner, Ashutosh Choudhary, has acquired significant equity in Alertapack Ltd. (UK) — the owner of an innovative portfolio of patents covering smart medication blister packs and blister pack stations across key markets, including the USA, Europe, India, and Canada.
The acquired IP portfolio (see Annex) includes patents and applications aimed at revolutionizing patient compliance and medication safety through smart packaging technologies. With granted and pending patents in high-value jurisdictions — notably:
- USA (Patent No. 12040081, granted July 2024)
- India (Patent No. 549592, granted September 2024)
- Plus pending applications in Europe and Canada
The technology presents transformative opportunities for pharmaceutical companies, packaging manufacturers, healthcare IoT developers, and medtech investors.
Ashutosh Choudhary, Founding Partner, KAnalysis, said: “Our objective now is to unlock the full commercial value of this IP. We are inviting proposals from global pharmaceutical and medtech players for licensing, acquisition, or co-development partnerships, to bring these patented solutions to the market.”
This strategic move underlines KAnalysis’ broader vision: combining IP strategy with direct investment to help scale high-impact technologies across international markets, particularly the USA, China, India, and Europe.
