The leading law firm Khaitan & Co acted as Indian legal counsel to National Securities Depository Limited (the “Company”) in relation to its initial public offering (“IPO”) of equity shares through an offer for sale of up to 50,145,001 equity shares. The selling shareholders included IDBI Bank Limited, National Stock Exchange of India Limited, Union Bank of India, State Bank of India, HDFC Bank Limited, and Administrator of the Specified Undertaking of the Unit Trust of India, aggregating to INR 40,110.00 million.
The IPO witnessed strong investor interest and was subscribed 41.01 times.
The book running lead managers (BRLMs) were ICICI Securities Limited, Axis Capital Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, IDBI Capital Markets & Securities Limited, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited, SBI Capital Markets Limited, and HDFC Bank Limited.
