Khaitan & Co Advised B Capital On Its Series A Investment In Sugar.fit
Khaitan & Co, has advised B Capital on its recent Series A investment in Sugar.fit, a Bengaluru-based HealthTech firm specializing in managing and reversing type 2 and pre-diabetes.
The funding round, which amounted to $5 million, was spearheaded by B Capital, a global investment firm with a focus on technology ventures.
The infusion of capital will be instrumental in expanding Sugar.fit's technology and product offerings, enhancing its brand visibility, and accelerating research and development efforts in the field of diabetes management.
Founded in 2021, Sugar.fit offers a comprehensive diabetes management program that integrates cutting-edge technology with personalized human interventions. Currently, the platform caters to over 30,000 users, highlighting its efficacy and relevance in addressing the growing global health concern posed by diabetes.
With a commitment to innovation and holistic wellness, Sugar.fit boasts an omnichannel presence, with seven diabetes clinics located in Bengaluru. These clinics provide a range of innovative wellness services, including stress management, live fitness and yoga sessions, and VR chromotherapy, among others. This multi-faceted approach underscores Sugar.fit's dedication to offering holistic solutions for diabetes management.
The transaction was led by a team of experts at Khaitan & Co, including Karun Cariappa, Mihir Roy, Sivananda Pingali, and Mustafa Rajkotwala. Their guidance and expertise were pivotal in facilitating the successful completion of the investment deal.
