Khaitan & Co Advised Book Running Lead Managers On Proposed IPO Of Rubicon Research
Khaitan & Co acted as a Legal Counsel to the Book Running Lead Managers, Axis Capital Ltd., IIFL Securities, JM Financial Ltd and SBI Capital Markets for the proposed IPO of Rubicon Research Pvt Ltd aggregating to INR 10,850 million.
Rubicon Research, a pharmaceutical formulations company, is known for its innovation through focused research and development. The company has an expanding portfolio of specialty products and drug-device combination products aimed at regulated markets, particularly the United States.
The IPO includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹500 crore and an Offer For Sale (OFS) of shares valued at ₹585 crore by the promoter, General Atlantic Singapore RR Pte Limited. General Atlantic currently owns over 57% of Rubicon Research.
Proceeds from the fresh issue will be used to repay debt. Additionally, funds will support inorganic growth through potential acquisitions and other strategic initiatives, as well as general corporate purposes.
