Khaitan & Co advised ChrysCapital Advisors LLP on investment in Series D funding round of The Sleep Company
The leading law firm Khaitan & Co acted as legal advisors to ChrysCapital Advisors LLP in relation to the investment of approximately INR 480 crores by ChrysCapital and 360 One in the Series D funding round of Comfort Grid Technologies Private Limited (“The Sleep Company”) through a combination of primary investment and secondary acquisition.
The Firm assisted with conducting due diligence on The Sleep Company, as well as negotiating and closing the transaction for ChrysCapital’s investment in the Series D round.
The core transaction team comprised Bharat Anand (Senior Partner), Nidhi Killawala (Partner), Mukul Aggarwal (Partner), and Ayushi Mishra (Principal Associate), with assistance from Ishaan Chopra (Senior Associate) on the ancillary aspects of the transaction, and Sakshi Garg (Associate) on diligence aspects.
On the intellectual property aspects of the diligence, the team included Nirupam Lodha (Partner), Shivangi Narang (Principal Associate), Vanshika Thapliyal (Associate), and Rebecca Cardoso (Associate).
The data privacy aspects of the diligence were handled by Supratim Chakraborty (Partner), Shramana Dwibedi (Senior Associate), and Mayank Barman (Associate).
Pranjal Prateek (Partner) and Armaan Gupta (Senior Associate) advised on the competition law aspects of the transaction.
