Khaitan & Co advised Craftsman Automation on its acquisition of Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Pvt. Ltd by purchasing the entire shareholding from funds managed by Kedaara Capital.
Auto component maker Craftsman Automation Ltd has acquired 100% stake in Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Pvt. Ltd for ₹376 crores. The transaction included the acquisition of all Sunbeam securities and an investment in optionally convertible debentures (OCDs) of Sunbeam.
Craftsman Automation is a manufacturer of automobile parts, known for producing gears, heavy parts, sheet metal equipment, special purpose machines, engineered components, and assembly.
