Khaitan & Co Advised Lightspeed India And Z47 On Their Follow-On Investment In Stable-Alpha Technologies
Khaitan & Co advised Lightspeed India Partners III, LLC (Lightspeed) and Matrix Partners India Investments IV, LLC; Matrix Partners India Investments IV-A LLC and Matrix Partners India IV AIF (collectively referred to as Matrix) in relation to follow on investment by Lightspeed and Z47 (formerly known as Matrix) (as existing shareholders of Stable) along with the lead investor, RTP Capital Limited in Stable-Alpha Technologies Private Limited (Stable) for approximately USD 14.7 million (INR 123 crores).
Stable Money, a Bengaluru-based company, is rapidly emerging as a notable player in the wealth tech space. The core objective of Stable Money is to build a fixed-return investment platform that offers financial consultation services to investors. The platform also aims to enhance financial literacy by publishing informative content to help investors make informed decisions.
Khaitan & Co. assisted Lightspeed and Matrix with review, drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents and providing execution and closing related assistance.
The core transaction team comprised of Nidhi Killawala (Partner), Srikant C V (Partner), Ayushi Mishra (Principal Associate) and Gracy Bindra (Associate) with assistance from Ishaan Chopra (Associate) on the regulatory aspects of the transaction.
