Khaitan & Co advised Multiples Private Equity Fund on acquisition of 32% stake in VIP Industries
Khaitan & Co advised Multiples Private Equity Fund on the acquisition of control and a ~32% stake in VIP Industries Limited (“Target Company”) for an aggregate consideration of approximately INR 1,763 crore by the Multiples Consortium. The acquisition structure includes:
- (a) Secondary acquisitions
- (b) Shareholders’ arrangement
- (c) Mandatory tender offer
The khaitan & co core team comprised Shishir Jose Vayttaden (Partner), Abhishek Dadoo (Partner), Aishwarya K (Partner), Shashank Patil (Counsel), Vritika Lakhwani (Senior Associate), and Gitika Lahiri (Associate).
