Khaitan & Co Advised Neuberg Diagnostics On ₹940 Cr Investment By Kotak Strategic Situations India Fund II
Khaitan & Co acted as Legal Counsel to Neuberg Diagnostics and its promoters on a significant investment of INR 940 crores by Kotak Strategic Situations India Fund II, managed by Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited.
This strategic investment aims to bolster Neuberg’s inorganic expansion strategy and strengthen its position in the diagnostics sector.
With this investment, Kotak Fund is in advanced discussions to acquire approximately a 15% stake in Neuberg Diagnostics as part of a pre-IPO funding round, positioning the company for accelerated growth and market expansion.
The transaction was led by Khaitan & Co Partner Vivek Sriram, supported by Principal Associate Varun Narayan, Senior Associate Atul Narayan, Associate Akhila Deekshitha Baddepudi, and Associate Rexey Sabu. Additional expertise was provided by Partner Prithwijit Gangopadhyay (Vendor Due Diligence), Partner Deepak Kumar (Employment), Partner Nirupam Lodha (Intellectual Property), Partner Anisha Chand (Competition), Partner Supratim Chakraborty (Data Protection), and Partner Rolwine Alva (Debt).
