Khaitan & Co advised Triton Partners on the sale of FläktGroup to Samsung Electronics
Khaitan & Co advised investment funds managed by Triton Partners on the sale of FläktGroup, including the indirect sale of its Indian subsidiary, FläktGroup India Private Limited, to Samsung Electronics Company Limited for EUR 1.5 billion (equivalent to an enterprise value of EUR 1.8 billion). The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions and is expected to close by 2025.
FläktGroup is a European market leader in energy-efficient ventilation and precision-cooling solutions, headquartered in Herne, Germany. The company operates in the indoor air-technology sector, offering ventilation, air-conditioning, air-quality, and fire-safety system solutions. In India, FläktGroup India Private Limited is primarily engaged in manufacturing air control equipment, air cleaning and management systems, pollution control equipment, and related accessories.
The Khaitan & Co team was led by Rabindra Jhunjhunwala (Partner), with support from Aman Anand (Principal Associate), Abhijeet Kamath (Senior Associate), and Akshara Bhansali (Associate).
They were further assisted by Deepak Kumar (Partner) and Archika Dudhwewala (Principal Associate) on employment and labour aspects; Avnish Sharma (Partner), Siddharth Godha (Principal Associate), Rupali Singh (Principal Associate), and Riya Manuja (Senior Associate) on real estate matters; and Atul Pandey (Partner) on regulatory issues.
