Khaitan & Co advised Vertex Ventures Sea Management Pte. Ltd on leading a Series A funding round in Metafin Cleantech Finance Private Limited, a solar-focused non-banking financial company (NBFC), with participation from Prime Venture Partners and Varanium Capital.

The firm’s role included drafting and negotiating the transaction documents and conducting legal due diligence on the target entity.

The khaitan & Co core transaction team was led by Sanjay Khan Nagra (Partner), with support from Ishita Agarwal (Principal Associate) and Nitin Raghu (Senior Associate). Tax aspects were handled by Anshul Khemuka (Partner).
