Khaitan & Co Advised Book Running Lead Managers On Travel Food Services Limited’s INR 20,000 Million IPO

Khaitan & Co acted as legal counsel to the Book Running Lead Managers — Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, and Batlivala & Karani Securities India Private Limited — as to Indian law in connection with the initial public offering of equity shares by Travel Food Services Limited aggregating to INR 20,000 million, comprising an offer for sale of equity shares by Kapur Family Trust.

The Company operates in a niche sector — the travel quick service restaurant (QSR) and lounge industry. Given the Company’s foreign listed promoter, the transaction was executed with due cognisance of the obligations applicable to such a promoter under Indian law.
