Khaitan & Co Guides Japan Bank For International Cooperation For USD 100 Million Loan
The proceeds will be utilized to finance lending programs
Prestigious Indian law firm, Khaitan & Co has advised Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) for a USD 100 million loan extended to IndusInd Bank through its branch in GIFT City, Gujarat.
The loan was co-financed by Mizuho Bank, the Joyo Bank and the Shiga Bank.
The proceeds will be utilized by IndusInd Bank to finance lending programs to eligible Japanese OEMs, agricultural machinery component manufacturers, agricultural machinery dealers and agricultural machinery sales financers in India.
The Khaitan & Co core team consisted of Devidas Banerji (Partner), Arindam Bhattacharjee (Principal Associate) and Sushmit Mandal (Associate).
