Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Advised Sai Parenteral's Limited And Its Singapore Subsidiary In The Cross-Border Acquisition Of Noumed Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan advised Sai Parenteral's Limited and its Singapore subsidiary in the cross-border acquisition of Noumed Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd
The premier full-service Indian law firm, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan advised Sai Parenteral's Limited and its Singapore subsidiary, Sai Parenterals Pte Limited, in their cross-border acquisition of a 74.6% equity stake in Noumed Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd (Australia) through a combination of a secondary purchase from Noumed Life Sciences Limited (United Kingdom) and a primary subscription by way of a convertible loan.
The team provided comprehensive end-to-end legal support across all stages of the transaction, including drafting, review, negotiation, and finalisation of complex transaction documents. The firm also played a central role in coordinating and managing the closing process and liaising with multiple stakeholders across jurisdictions to facilitate seamless completion.
The Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan team was led by Noorul Hassan (Executive Partner), with support from Shipra Verma (Associate Partner) and Alekhya Kanda (Senior Associate) from the Corporate and M&A practice based in Hyderabad.
