Badrinath Durvasula joins Essar as its Sr. Vice President and Head Legal

Badrinath Durvasula has joined Essar as its Sr. Vice President & Head Legal in Mumbai. He took over the role with effect from June 1, 2020. He would be handling the corporate function, including focus on infrastructure projects and would advise on Essar’s international interests as well.

He was earlier working as the Vice President and General Counsel at Hindustan Construction Company.

He specializes in M&A – Indian & International; Contracts, Litigation - Indian & International; Arbitration,Commercial negotiations,risk management & Compliance. In the past, Badrinath has held senior in-house positions at Adani Group, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints& General Insurance Corporation of India.
