According to sources, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS) trademarks and copyright practice head Dr. Sheetal Vohra and LKS associate Nupur Kumar who was part of her practice at the firm have mutually commenced Delhi based IPR firm Vohra & Kumar.
Vohra & Kumar was introduced on May 12, which functions from Delhi’s Green Park. In addition to co-founding partners, it has five other lawyers and three paralegals.
Vohra is a Campus Law Centre Delhi 2000 alumnus while Kumar is an Army Institute of Law Mohali 2012 alumnus. Before joining LKS in September 2014, Vohra, who had stint with advocate Sudhir Luthra, Lal, Lahiri & Salhotra and DePenning & DePenning.
Prior to joining LKS, Kumar worked at Zeuslp Advocates and Anand & Anand. As per Vohra, “she was optimistic about the firm’s growth with the government having put in place the new draft IPR policy and having come up with commercial courts.”
At present, clients of the start-up were from the FMCG, pharmaceutical, educational, fashion and automobile sectors.
