Luthra And Luthra Law Offices India Advised Loco On Majority Stake Sale To UAE's Redwood
Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India acted as the legal counsel for Loco, an Indian game streaming platform in its sale of majority stake to Redwood, a technology-focused investment company based in the UAE.
Loco was backed by marquee investors such as South Korean gaming giant Krafton, crypto venture capital firm Hashed, Catamaran Ventures, Makers Fund, Lumikai, Korea Investment Partners and Hiro Capital.
The USD 65 million transaction involved a mix of primary and secondary investment and provided a full exit for Loco's existing investors.
This investment will enable Loco to expand into international markets and enter into new partnerships with major gaming companies, esports athletes, and streamers.
The transaction team at Luthra and Luthra was led by Partner, Nishant Singh and was ably assisted by Managing Associate, Saksham Madan; and Associates, Silpi Jain, Maitri Meghani and Rahul Lal.
