International lawyers Majmudar & Partners have advised N Harris Computer Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Software (a Canadian diversified software company based in Toronto) for acquiring Allscripts Healthcare Solutions' hospitals and large physician practices business.
The law firm advised on the Indian law aspects of the deal, including corporate, foreign exchange, antitrust, intellectual property and tax. It also assisted in finalizing the transaction documents.
The Majmudar & Partners team comprised Akil Hirani (Managing Partner and Head of Transactions), Kritika Agarwal (Associate Partner) and Rahul Datta (Associate). On tax aspects, Ravishankar Raghavan (Partner) assisted them.
