P&A Law Offices advised IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited, a subsidiary of Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited, on the sale of its energy advisory business undertaking to PTC India Limited on a "slump sale" and "going concern" basis.
The transaction bid process was conducted by way of a "Swiss Challenge" and PTC India Limited emerged as the successful bidder. PTC Limited is a public sector enterprise and is listed on the BSE and NSE.
IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited and Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited were advised on the transaction by Anand Pathak (Managing Partner), Nabik Syam (Partner), Supreme Waskar (Associate Partner), Alok Gokhale (Senior Associate) and Mragank Shukla (Associate).
