Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust on INR 6,964.5 million preferential issue
The leading law firm in India, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust, acting through its Investment Manager EAAA Real Assets Managers Limited, in connection with a preferential issue of units aggregating up to INR 6,964.5 million (approximately US$75.7 million) to select investors on a preferential basis.
The transaction involved the issuance of up to 5,95,25,000 units by Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust, represented by its trustee Axis Trustee Services Limited, for an aggregate consideration of up to INR 6,964.5 million. The preferential issue forms part of Anzen’s capital raising initiatives for its portfolio of transmission and solar assets and is expected to support the continued growth and development of its infrastructure platform in the renewable energy sector.
