Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development on ₹566.30 crore financing of Juniper Green Kite’s 90 MW wind power project
The leading law firm in India, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development on the financing of a 90 MW onshore wind power project by Juniper Green Kite Private Limited in Gujarat.
The transaction involved a senior secured project loan of ₹533 crore, an LC sub-limit of ₹125 crore, and a bank guarantee facility of ₹33.30 crore, part-financing an estimated project cost of ₹692.57 crore.
The project has long-term offtake secured under a power purchase agreement and is sponsored by Juniper Green Energy Limited, with Juniper Renewable Holdings Pte. Ltd., Singapore as the promoter.
The financing supports the development of utility-scale wind energy infrastructure in India and contributes to the expansion of renewable energy capacity aligned with the country’s clean energy and sustainability goals.
