Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Khaitan & Co advised Paradeep Phosphates and Zuari Maroc on IPO
The deal was valued at US$194.40 million
Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has advised Paradeep Phosphates Limited and Zuari Maroc Phosphates Private Limited in relation to the initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares of Paradeep Phosphates.
Despite the volatile market conditions prevailing at the time of the launch, the IPO overall subscribed to 1.42x, with the qualified institutional buyer portion subscribing to 3.40x and the anchor investor portion subscribing to 1.04x.
The transaction team of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas was led by Prashant Gupta (Partner); Sayantan Dutta (Partner); Sanjana Chowdhry (Senior Associate); Addway Bandyopadhyay (Senior Associate), and Shivang Agarwal (Associate).
Indian law firm Khaitan & Co and international law firm Sidley Austin advised Book Running Lead Managers Axis Capital Limited, ICICI Securities Limited, JM Financial Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited on domestic and international legal aspects.
