The Precept-Law Offices Advised On The Acquisition Of Bhojraj Renewables Energy By Purvah Green Power
The Precept-Law Offices Advised on the Acquisition of Bhojraj Renewables Energy by Purvah Green Power
The Precept-Law Offices advised and represented Bhojraj Renewables Energy Private Limited (BREPL), a special purpose vehicle of Tarbiya Construction and Infrastructure Private Limited, in its strategic acquisition by Purvah Green Power Private Limited (PGPPL).
PGPPL is a subsidiary of CESC Limited, the flagship company of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, a leading electricity generation and distribution company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. BREPL was developing a 450 MW hybrid renewable power project (comprising 150 MW solar and 300 MW wind) in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
The Precept-Law Offices acted as the lead transaction counsel, advising BREPL throughout the transaction. The firm’s scope included structuring the transaction, and reviewing, negotiating, finalising, and executing all transaction-related agreements and documents. The firm also advised on various legal and regulatory requirements, and assisted with the due diligence of extensive land parcels required for the project.
The transaction was led by Manish Singh (Partner), with support from Seraj Khan (Senior Associate) and Vivek Vashisth (Senior Associate).
