TPG acquisition of equity stake in Ess Kay led by AZB & Partners
Ess Kay Fincorp Ltd. – a Non Banking Finance Company has raised Rs. 3.37 billion in Series E Funding from a group of investors that included existing investors – TPG Growth, Norwest Venture Partners and Evolvence. Promoter Rajendra Setia also invested as part of this round.
With this investment, the firm has raised over Rs. 1,000 crore of external capital from marquee investors.
Founded in 2007, TPG Growth specializes in growth equity and middle-market buyout opportunities. Taking a long-term and hands-on approach to partnership, the firm identifies unique companies across the U.S., Asia, and other select regions and help them achieve their full potential.
AZB & Partners advised TPG Growth Advisors (India) Private Limited (TPG). Divya Mundra (Partner) and Palak Khandelwal (Senior Associate) were involved in the deal.
