Trilegal Advised Digantara On Its Series B fundraise Of USD 50 million
Trilegal advised Digantara on its Series B fundraise of USD 50 million
The leading law firm in India, Trilegal advised Digantara, a space surveillance and intelligence company, and its founders on their Series B fundraise of USD 50 million from a mix of existing and new investors, including 360 ONE Asset, Peak XV, Kalaari Capital, SBI Japan, and Rohinton Soli Screwvala. Digantara continues to be backed by marquee investors, including the Aditya Birla Group and SIDBI.
The Trilegal Corporate team on the matter was led by Amit Khansaheb (Partner) and Abhishek Dubey (Partner), with support from Ishita Sinha (Senior Associate), and associates Sagnik Sarkar and Aditya Kaushik.
Digantara is a deep-tech space company specialising in space situational awareness and navigation, focusing on orbital safety, space traffic management, and debris monitoring through its flagship platform, Space-MAP (Mission Assurance Platform). It serves commercial satellite operators, defence agencies, and other strategic stakeholders.
With this fundraise, Digantara is expanding its capabilities from monitoring objects in space to detecting and tracking missiles, strengthening sensing, tracking, and decision-making technologies to address critical national security challenges. The funding will also support international expansion, particularly in Europe, and enhance domestic capabilities through increased production capacity, satellite manufacturing, and in-house development of optical systems.
