Trilegal Advised Multiples On USD 430 Million Continuation Fund – India’s First Multi-Asset Secondaries Transaction
Trilegal advised Multiples on USD 430 Million Continuation Fund – India’s First Multi-Asset Secondaries Transaction
Trilegal advised Multiples in the establishment of its inaugural continuation fund, valued at approximately USD 430 million, marking India’s first-ever multi-asset secondaries transaction. The deal was backed by a consortium of four lead investors from different geographies and was significantly oversubscribed.
The transaction enabled Fund II investors to monetize the strong performance of a portfolio of highly successful investments, while allowing certain investors to re-invest in the continuation fund, thereby supporting Multiples' continued ownership of the portfolio companies.
The Trilegal Asset Management and Funds team was led by Ganesh Rao (Partner), Aditya Jha (Partner), and Yash Bansal (Partner), with support from Jill Gada (Senior Associate), Nayanikaa Shukla (Associate), Arpit Jhanwar (Associate), and Rea Gulati (Associate).
The Corporate team was led by Kunal Chandra (Partner), supported by Aditya Nandakumar (Senior Associate), Kunal Paleja (Senior Associate), Sharnam Vaswani (Associate), and Shambuk Biswas (Associate).
The Competition team was led by Rudresh Singh (Partner), with assistance from Divye Sharma (Counsel), Vrinda Nagpal (Senior Associate), Rishitosh K. Akshaya (Associate), and Kunal Singh (Associate).
