Trilegal advised Muthoot Finance on USD 250 million senior secured notes issuance
Trilegal advised Muthoot Finance Limited (MFL) on the drawdown by way of an issuance of Regulation S, USD-denominated senior secured notes due in 2029 with a coupon of 6.375%, aggregating to USD 250 million (“Offering”).
The drawdown was undertaken by MFL under its USD 2 billion global medium-term note program. Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch and Standard Chartered Bank acted as the managers to the Offering. The notes were listed on NSE IFSC Ltd., GIFT City, India. MFL is the largest gold loan NBFC in terms of loan portfolios. The issue proceeds will be applied for onward lending and other activities as permitted by the RBI.
