Trilegal Advised Nexus Select Trust on INR 5,500 Million Sustainability-Linked NCD Issuance

Trilegal advised Nexus Select Trust, India’s first retail-focused real estate investment trust, on its maiden issuance of sustainability-linked, listed, secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) aggregating to INR 5,500 million. The issuance was made to institutional investors and the proceeds were utilised towards funding the acquisition of the MBD Complex in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The transaction required structuring advice and the drafting of transaction documents in compliance with SEBI REIT regulations, ESG norms, and other SEBI regulations relevant to the issuance.
